So much emotion came from the Michael Jackson tribute during the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (January 31). Lionel Richie — Jackson’s longtime friend and “We Are The World” collaborator — introduced the set, saying Michael “dared to believe that he could make the world a better place.”

As the performance began, we heard the timeless icon’s voice talk about the how he hated pollution and destruction of the earth. “That stuff really bothers me,” Jackson said in the recording. “That’s why I write these kinda songs, to give some kind of awareness and awakening and hope to people. I love the planet. I love trees. When the colors are changing in the leaves, I love it.” The recording led into Jackson’s “Earth Song.”

Usher followed up MJ’s vocals, walking onstage singing, “Did you ever stop to notice/ All the blood we’ve shed before?/ Did you ever stop to notice/ The crying Earth, the weeping shores?”

“What have we done to the world?” Jackson’s voice came back in. Behind the performers was a mini-movie, which was featured in the concert film “Michael Jackson’s This Is It,” playing on huge screens. The film was in 3-D, and you could see celebrities in the audience such as Beyoncé and Rihanna wearing 3-D glasses.

“What about flowering fields?” Carrie Underwood came out singing. “Is there a time?/ What about all the dreams/ That you said was yours and mine?” Jennifer Hudson then joined in, and Smokey Robinson came next.

As the song ended, they all turned, with their backs facing the audience, to look at photos of the late Jackson on screens that hung above the stage.

Jackson’s children, Prince Michael and Paris, accepted a Grammy lifetime-achievement award for their father after the performance.

“Our father was always concerned about the planet and humanity,” Prince said. “Through all his hard work and dedication, he has helped many charities and donated to all of them. Throughout his songs, his message was simple: love. We will continue to spread his message and help the world. Thank you. We love you, Daddy.”

Paris said that her father would have performed at the Grammys this year.

Green Day Preview American Idiot Musical At Grammys

At the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (January 31), Green Day gave the world a preview of the musical based on their 2004 album American Idiot. Singing along with the cast of the show coming soon to Broadway, Billie Joe Armstrong and the band busted out “21 Guns,” a cut off 21st Century Breakdown for which they all recorded a special version.

Directed by Tony-winning “Spring Awakening” helmer Michael Mayer, the show began a run at the Berkeley Repertory Theater in September 2009. Telling a story of love, loss and war, the musical integrates songs from American Idiot as well as 21st Century Breakdown and a never-released tune called “When It’s Time.” The production is set to begin previews at Manhattan’s St. James Theatre in March 24 and then officially open on April 20.

“Michael Mayer is great; the cast is great,” Armstrong told MTV News last year. “They’re really passionate as artists. They put everything they possibly can into it. They’re not trying to make it big and Hollywood. They’re artists, and that’s the most inspiring thing.”

In a January statement announcing the move to Broadway, Mayer said, “Green Day’s iconic album is one of the most brutally honest, eloquent and poetically theatrical responses to the post-9/11 world that I have encountered. I hear in these amazing songs the frustration and anger and dreams of a lost generation of Americans. Collaborating with Billie Joe and the band has been a mind-blowing thrill from day one.”

VH1 Tough Love 2: The Aftermath

Posted under vh1

tl2_finale_13

You saw the nine women of VH1 Tough Love 2 talk about their past and progress on tonight’s finale, but where are they now? We actually have some idea of this, thanks to the Tough Love 2 producers following up with the girls to find out what’s going on with their love lives as a result of the show. On these updates written by the ladies themselves, High Noon says: “Several months after being in Tough Love boot camp, most of the women have developed strong relationships thanks to Steve and JoAnn. The interesting thing is that most of these…are with new men they met after they returned home.” Updates on all nine women are below!

Rocky

tl2_finale_3

Rocky and her 32 animals made an impression on everyone in boot camp, including Steve and JoAnn.  Now, she’s just as crazy as ever…

“Hey guys, it’s Rocky. I am here for your dining and dancing pleasure to give you an update.  I am doing really good.  I am in the studio finishing up my rocking CD, as well as my daughter’s new single.  And speaking of single: I still am.  Jason and I saw each other a few times after boot camp, but it never got serious and I haven’t dated anyone else since the show!  I miss being with a significant other.  It would have been nice to ring in the New Year with my Ȁ animals…and a man.  There’s gotta be someone out there as rocking and as crazy as I am.  Other than that I have been invited to do Danny Bonaduce’s radio show, which will be quite entertaining for me since Danny Boy hasn’t stopped talking about me.   Him getting rid of me [on I Know My Kid's a Star] cost him his show and I plan on telling him so.  I live for moments like that.”

Sally

tl2_finale_6

Sally’s biggest problem before boot camp was her self-confidence.  Below, she writes on how she’s changed after going through boot camp with Steve and JoAnn.

“After bootcamp, David and I both decided to just be friends for now. We absolutely plan on keeping in touch and visiting each other. He will definitely be a part of my life for a very long time, but I’m not sure he was ‘the one.’  I’m still working on the lessons I learned at boot camp and making myself a better, stronger woman. Things are amazing. Busy, but amazing. I wouldn’t trade my Tough Love experience for anything in the world!

In other news, I’ve been dating a new boy for five months now. We say, ‘I love you,’ and such. He actually lives in Cali! We try to see each other every two weeks. I have a year left of nursing school and I plan on moving there at the end of school. I learned so much from the show. I still talk to Angel, Liz and Alicia all the time. We consider our selves sisters. Life has just been really great and I look forward to the good things to come and my relationship to grow even more. :)”

Tina

tl2_finale_9

Although Tina didn’t walk out of boot camp with a boyfriend, she left with some major priority changes.

“After bootcamp, I actually got my old job back and now I am back at work at my company, and I have pretty much completely put balance back into my life.  I still have the same drive and work ethic I did before the show, but I know when to put Tina first.  I have been more relaxed with my approach on how I handle when to I give work 100 percent and when I give Tina 100 percent.  Currently, I am not dating anyone special, although I am getting out more and making an effort to keep guys out of the ‘friend zone.’  I do still chat with Quincy and plan to make a visit to San Diego early this year to visit him.  I also have been selected to be in Sacramento magazine’s singles edition, which hits newsstands in February. I am hoping maybe that will help me meet my partner in crime.

Both my friends and family said they have seen such positive changes in my appearance and in my attitude.  No more business women. :-)

The best decision I have ever made for myself was going to boot camp.  I am still very appreciative of everything that Steve and JoAnn did for me.”

Kanisha

tl2_finale_11

Kanisha came to boot camp convinced that no one could change her.  She’s a different person after the experience and has found happiness in other ways.

“After boot camp, Keenan and I talked a couple of times over text messages, but he has not made any kind of attempt to see me.  He claims that he is very busy with work. But in my eyes, Keenan is all bark and no bite.  At the moment, I’m focusing on myself and completing my master’s degree program. I’m also in the process of purchasing a condo and starting my own businesses. My dating life is going really good. I met Kevin, a fire fighter for La County, through a mutual friend. We have been dating since November. Our relationship is going very well. And we are very happy with each other.

Tough Love boot camp changed me as individual completely. The experience made me realize a lot of different things I was doing wrong in my dating and personal life. It has made me a stronger person, and I view life in a more valuable way. When I walked into boot camp, I didn’t think Steve would be able to break me down and change me as a person. But Steve did throughout the boot camp and I’m very grateful for the experience.

P.S. London Dupri has retired for good!”

Jenna

tl2_finale_19

Steve called Jenna the toughest boot camper he ever encountered.  Since the show, she’s taken a few steps forward and a few steps backward…

“I’ve been to San Francisco and seen Turner once since boot camp and things went really well, but until I move out to San Francisco permanently, there’s not really any way to see if we’ll go anywhere other than friends. I am still planning to move to San Francisco after I finish grad school in May.

I’m still glad I had the boot camp experience. It definitely made me reevaluate the way I approach men and people in general. Still working on my positivity!!!  Someone told me the other day that I was bubbly and I resisted all urges to laugh. I think that’s progress.  I did talk to Jeremy again…how could I not after that craziness? Nothing’s going on there and I don’t care for it to, either, but I think we understand each other better now.

Outside of my romantic life, I wound up gaining some weight during and after the show and am working on taking it off again. I’ve come to accept that I’ll have to work my entire life if I want to stay smaller. But I am trying to be more positive about myself and surrounding myself with amazing people who are helping keep me on track.”

Alicia

tl2_finale_14

Alicia was completely taken aback when Nick asked her to move to Philadelphia with him.  Was she able to take the leap or was it too much too soon?

“The status of Nick and I: we talk about every two weeks, and no I didn’t move to Philly.  Our budding relationship kind of fizzled after boot camp.

BUT…

I am currently seeing someone who lives out here (bonus) that I met through my cousin. Little Miss ‘I will never approach a guy’ grew a pair and landed this guy!  My ‘guy’ is 30. That’s right folks, he is NOT 23, 24 or even 25. I have opened new doors since I have been home!  We’re kinda taking things slow. Although we both want to get married and have kids, we are still getting to know each others goods and bads. Since he and I have been together, I have calmed way down with the partying. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I still love going out, I just cut it way down.  The best part is that he and I watch the show together. Not sure it’s his favorite, but he’s a good sport!

My feelings toward boot camp are still the same: I am so appreciative that I got to have such an amazing experience.  I really think that I have learned and applied tons of stuff from boot camp, starting with all the stupid young douche bags I associated myself with are now gone!!!  I love when I they text me and I really don’t give two s***s cause I know I deserve so much better! Also, although it’s not 100 percent, I have some more confidence and I’m not afraid to speak my mind anymore. It’s actually been really positive! Anyway, boot camp was and forever will be the most amazing experience I have ever had in my entire life. I can’t thank Steve and Joann enough!”

Liz

tl2_finale_16

Right after the show, Liz and Dave had some up and downs. But today, she is happier than ever.  See why below…

“After boot camp, Dave and I left together as boyfriend and girlfriend, totally in love, or at least I thought.  The first night of freedom, Dave, myself and several of the other girls went out to a local bar.  Dave and I both had a little too much to drink and fought the entire night.  He apologized the next day and I forgave him. The next day, I messed up and apparently was picking little stupid arguments with him the entire night, which I completely regret and apologized for but I’m sure turned him off to me. We talked on the phone for the next week and he even came and saw me in San Diego the next weekend, but ultimately, we decided to let the past be the past and remain just friends. He said things moved way too fast, which I agree with.  It really sucks because I really, really cared about and wanted to be with Dave, but unfortunately, the Dave I fell for wasn’t the Dave I saw after the show.

Otherwise, things are going really well.  I still live in San Diego and I’m about to move into a new house with Angel and my very serious boyfriend (that’s right boyfriend) Andy! Angel and I drove cross-country together to move her out to Cali about two weeks after the show ended and we’ve been living together ever since. I have grown so much since the show and gave up on my old ways. I put the old habits of only dating guys for their looks (big muscles, fighting careers, douchebag affliction shirts and slightly dumb, of course) away. I decided to start dating a guy for the person he really is, not just a meathead stereotype that I thought I was looking for.  I’m now dating a guy that is exactly like Angel except in male form, of course. He is an absolutely hilarious, sarcastic, smart rocker guy with tattoos and a mohawk but most importantly he treats me like gold and can actually throw jokes back to me. Those are two qualities that Dave never came close to! Even though we’ve only been dating for about three months now, we’re already taking the next step and moving in together! And hopefully, who knows, maybe this one will finally give me that ring I’ve been waiting for. Yeah, yeah,  I know: I still want the marriage thing, but hey, you can’t change everything I guess. But for now, life is good.”

Taylor

tl2_finale_17

After returning to Tough Love boot camp for a second chance at finding love, Taylor’s own insecurities and past romantic failures almost kept her from accepting the love that her rapper boyfriend, Willy, was offering. Now she tells us what happened after taking him up on that offer…

“I’ve never been better in my life! Thank you for asking…xoxo! I have so many things on the table that I am very excited about.  Although we remain friends, Willy and I are no longer romantically involved.  I’m definitely dating…I’m currently still single, and looking for love. I’m not dating anyone exclusively, because I am keeping my options open and looking for ‘my true love.’

Angel

tl2_finale_18

After Steve told Angel that she was the best boot camper he’s ever had, she was tasked with maintaining both her personal changes and the accomplishment of her successful relationship with Adam.  Was Angel able to do it or did she return to the stripper pole?

“After leaving boot camp, I returned to Ohio and started bartending full time at a friend’s bar.  After a couple of weeks, Liz came to Ohio and together, we moved my stuff out to San Diego! Now, I am living in Southern California with Liz and working full time at Longboards Bar and Grill. I have not set foot in a strip club since bootcamp. :)

Adam and I are still very much together!  We are taking things very slow, and things did get a little confusing after bootcamp, but we are still working at it and are very happy.  My family is talking about moving West and I am planning on going back to college to finally graduate and settle down.  I still wear a flower in my hair and sometimes Sylvia :) But my life has drastically changed since boot camp and I am proud of how far I have come. I learned that what happened in my past is who I am, but what happens now is who I will be and I never want to return to that old lifestyle. Steve and JoAnn helped me a lot with that and I feel like my life can only get better from here on out.”

Steve has two events in Atlantic City coming up — click the image below for more details.

A Basement Affair Recap - Episode 5 - Hell Is From Children

Posted under vh1

This episode is infested.

basement_5_gif1basement_5_gif1
basement_5_gif1basement_5_gif1

Positively infested.

We begin with the aftershocks of Jenny’s elimination. Felicia poses with a coffee pot and says that it just goes to show that Frank will dig up secrets if they exist. Indeed, he’s the 21st century equivalent of Scooby Doo, if Scooby Doo were a gym bunny instead of whatever the hell kind of dog he is.

basement_5_p1f_1

Felicia wonders who’s hiding something. She asks Kerry which famous guy Cathy recently dated. In an interview, Kerry explains that she, Cathy and Felicia have been the tightest, so this digging may mark a sea change for their trinity.

And then, the sea changes for real.

basement_5_p1f_2

Like, really, a typhoon has hit their alliance:

basement_5_p1f_3

basement_5_p1f_4

As Kerry and Cathy whisper about Felicia, what do you know, Felicia comes knocking on the door.

basement_5_p1f_5

Kerry and Cathy then continue their conversation…

basement_5_p1f_6

…which would be fine if they then somehow segued into a discussion on household poisons or how not to get a disease on VH1, but after Kerry tells Cathy to be careful, they just kind of stare and stammer at each other awkwardly. Felicia leaves because she really has to pee. Her two soon-to-be former friends mock her.

basement_5_p1f_7

For today’s challenge, these women will be put through hell, and even more so than usual. They have to take care of a pack of kids dressed as Frank…

basement_5_p1f_8

Christi refers to them as “little Franks.” They are cocktail Franks, if you will. They all have name tags designating them as “Frank [Real Name],” similar to the way some nuns of the same convent will be called “Sister Mary [Real Name or Whatever].” At least, that’s how it was in Sister Act.

basement_5_p1f_9

This one’s eyebrows give a sense of foreboding…

basement_5_p1f_10

…which is realized as soon as the Marescas leave the house and the kids start jumping on the couch.

basement_5_p1f_11

Susan has left a list of instructions detailing how to care for these hellcats.

basement_5_p1f_12

Cut to Renee feeding them ice cream before lunch…

basement_5_p1f_14

What a sin. Renee is helping these kids spoil their appetite for the boxed macaroni and cheese they’re supposed to eat first. They’ll be deprived of nutrients. Specifically, the nutrient of neon orange. Renee explains that she was motivated to break the rules because she wanted the kids to be like, “Renee’s awesome, she’s so nice.” Renee just wants to be loved. It’s kind of heartbreaking, really.

Felicia’s strategy involves taking the kids behind a curtain…

basement_5_p1f_15

…and telling them, “I’ll let you guys do whatever you want, if you tell everyone how I was the best babysitter.” Yeah, I’m sure they’ll do that once they get over being creeped out enough to form sentences again.

basement_5_p1f_16

Whatever little boy she’s taken behind the curtain then hollers, “Hey guys, she’s the worst babysitter here!” Curses, foiled again! And she would have gotten away with it if it weren’t for these kids that have been put up to meddling!

While Kerry tosses around a football and gives dance instructions…

basement_5_p1f_17

…Annie, this quarter’s resident VH1 performance artist, comes up against a particularly brutal one named Will.

basement_5_p1f_18

Their exchange here goes:

Annie: Will, I’m not playing this game with you, you need to go downstairs right now.
Will: I know you are but what am I?

Will, you’re somebody who doesn’t know how to use the phrase, “I know you are but what am I?” properly. That’s what.

Will seems to have arrived with an arsenal of phrases to toss out. Things like…

basement_5_p1f_19

…”Talk to the hand!” And…well, maybe that’s it. I wouldn’t be surprised if a “Is that your final answer?” or “Don’t go there!” was somewhere lying on the cutting-room floor right now, though.

Everyone seems to have a problem with Will…

basement_5_p1f_21

He openly mocks Christi when she tries to discipline him…

basement_5_p1f_22

…Christi interviews that Will is demonic and will probably flash before her eyes when she dies. This makes me love Christi so much that I don’t want her to go to the demons! Walk into the light, Christi!

(That one goes out to Zelda Rubenstein. RIP, you brave, brave lady.)

Melody gently takes Will aside (I’m so sick of typing this kid’s name, btw), and tells him that she understands that everyone wants to have fun, but he’s being disrespectful.

basement_5_p1f_23

And then all of a sudden, he’s good. He eats his extremely healthy mac and cheese without a peep. Hmmm, I’m not buying it. Plant! Plant!

Then Melissa introduces the idea of having an egg race, which one of the kids misinterprets as…

basement_5_p1f_24

…and then everyone else just bombs the ground, anyway, because that’s what happens during an egg race.

basement_5_p1f_25

Annie gives herself the task of cleaning up Melissa’s bright idea. And speaking of cleaning, not enough of it is done by the time the Marescas return. They note holes in the love seat, too…

basement_5_p1f_26

“What happened here?” asks Frank. Uh, your hired Gremlin hands did their job? Christi says that she assumes Will did the cushion-tearing because “he’s a little piece of s*** and I hate him.” That’s the spirit!

Frank takes his troop of mini-mes down to the basement to get their report on who was the best babysitter.

basement_5_p1f_27

Renee was good. “She gave us ice cream, it was amazing,” says one kid sounding as prepubescent as humanly possible. Cathy was very nice and is a sexy mamacita. Kerry was very nice, and Frank would look best with her, per his query. Whenever I want advice on what would make me look best, I turn to 10-year-olds, obviously. Christi yelled the most. The mention of her name elicits a chorus of boos. When it comes to brats like this, that means she did her job right. Will admits to being the worst-behaved kid, and that Melody did the best keeping him under control. That’s an extremely mature observation. Are we really sure that there isn’t an Ewok under that Will costume?

Anyway, the kids picked Kerry and Melody as the best babysitters so they will share a bowling/dinner (and by “dinner,” I mean “bowling alley food”) date with Frank and his parents. The rest of the girls will eat with Brother Sal. Mmmmm, Sal.

Before Frank departs for his bowling date, Renee interviews that Frank told her he needs constant assurance so she writes him a note telling him he looked nice today. If he’s that insecure, he probably won’t be OK with her spilling the beans on the “constant assurance” bit. Girl, you know it’s true. Anyway, she writes this note in the closet, rather hilariously.

basement_5_p1f_28

Melissa reports to the girls regarding what Renee is doing and then explains it to us in an interview: “Little Miss Weirdo is writing one of her infanous [sic] love notes to Frank in the closet.” After hearing her say that, I’m really curious how one of Melissa’s infanous love notes would read. Probably hilariously.

For some reason, Felicia decides that she needs to know the contents of Renee’s note, so she sticks tape on a knife and attempts to retrieve it from under the basement door, where Renee slid it…

basement_5_p1f_30

Almost immediately, Frank pops out of his room to find Felicia on the floor with a knife. Foiled again! It’s hard out there for an underminer. Frank asks her if she’s cleaning. “Kind of!” she says, which actually is more or less the truth.

Frank takes his parents and two winners bowling. Melody is good, Kerry is not.

basement_5_p1f_31

As Frank bowls, his mom says, “There goes a lunatic!” There’s been going a lunatic, lady. We’re already on Episode 5! She also notes, “Frankie’s been playing with balls for a long time,” which…wha?

At one point Frank rather impressively bowls between his legs to land a strike. I guess he really does have practice playing with balls, and also perhaps retracting them.

The time comes for one-on-ones. First up is Kerry, with whom Frank eats French fries.

basement_5_p1f_32

“You’re such, like, a likable person,” she tells him. She sounds sarcastic. They talk about Frank’s sexual attraction to her, which is apparently great. Great.

Meanwhile, the Marescas and Melody talk about the state of the bathroom in the bowling alley.

basement_5_p1f_33

You don’t need me to tell you that it’s absolutely riveting, riveting stuff.

When it’s Melody’s turn for her one-on-one, she explains that there was a “nice little photobooth” in the alley where they did some “funny faces.”

basement_5_p1f_34

Tammy would be mortified.

But there’s nothing funny about the faces that follow…

basement_5_p1f_35

…unless you find tongues touching tongues funny, which actually I mostly do.

Then, Sal brings over some yumminess to the girls who didn’t win the challenge…

basement_5_p1f_36

He also brings food and beer.

As he grills for the girls…

basement_5_p1f_37

…Melissa tosses some related double entendres at him like, “I want sausage,” and “I’m not gonna be satisfied with just once piece of meat.” She’s flirting with Sal, but can you really blame her?

Sal gathers the girls for a toast…

basement_5_p1f_38

…”To a great barbecue…and my mother’s hairdo.” Sah-woooooon!

basement_5_p1f_40

When they sit around to eat, Sal asks them about their worst breakups. Christi comes around to talking about her ex, whom she stopped hooking up with in March/May (I guess April saw a relapse?). She says they’re still friends. Sal draws the conclusion that they’re friends with benefits. What a boner killer. Ya had me Sal. All you had to do was keep it on the straight and narrow. He also asks them about their futures, and Felicia talks about wanting to be a CFO of a Fortune 500. Sal notes that Felicia’s dreams don’t involve Frank. That is because Felicia is smart.

And crafty! When Frank comes back from bowling, she makes a beeline for his lips.

basement_5_p1f_41

Cathy then resolves to steal Frank away from “shady” Felicia.

basement_5_p1f_42

“Can we talk?” asks Cathy. “Just you and I,” Frank asks back. No, Frank, you, Cathy and Joan Rivers.

Alone, Cathy tells Frank about Felicia’s smack-talk re: her dating a famous guy when she came to the house. She says she hasn’t had a relationship in over a yea. Frank asks about her dalliances with famous men. Cathy denies dating anyone/celebrity when she got there. I feel like “when she got there” will turn out to be the operative phrase in that sentence. Frank invites her to the basement to have sex in order to prove that she’s there for the right reasons. He’s kidding, he adds, but I bet he’d turn serious if she took him up on the offer. She does not.

Sal gives frank the rundown of the night’s events. He tells Frank about Felicia’s future not involving him and the fact that Christi is still best friends with her ex. “Friends with benefits? You know, who knows?” he concludes. Ugh, Sal. Didn’t we almost have it all? Even without Sal’s editorializing, I get the feeling that Frank would still be suspicious of Christi’s enduring connection with her ex. He reports that he had sex with exes he remained friends with. Lots of sex.

basement_5_gif2

Since Frank sets the standard for the way all humans live their lives (if he did it, everyone does it!), he might be onto something.

Frank talks to Felicia, who confirms that she can see herself with Frank in five years. Whew! What a relief. Then, he talks to Christi.

basement_5_p1f_45

Christi admits that she sees her ex, Evan, a lot, but that “best friend” probably wasn’t the right way to put it. Frank asks her to call Evan so that Frank can know exactly what’s going on. Evan promptly tells Frank that he and Christi fooled around just weeks before she went on the show, which who cares? If Frank’s going to use that against her, he should at least reveal when he fooled around before the show.

Anyway, Christi gets back on the phone, and asks Evan what he said. Evan admits to talking about fooling around a few weeks before the start of filming.

basement_5_p1f_46

“Why would you lie? Why would you do that to me?” asks Christi. Yeah, why would he? She has more of a reason to lie than he does, obviously, but she seems genuinely upset. It’s really hard to get a handle on exactly who’s lying.

basement_5_p1f_47

Wouldn’t you agree, eavesdroppers?

There’s no time to answer because it’s time for elimination. Kerry is called first. Upon calling Cathy up, Frank says, “Today I actually found myself missing this girl today. I missed her talking.” So that’s cute. Also, when Frank asks Annie if she’ll accept the key to his basement, she says, “Obvi.” So that’s cuter. Anyway, it comes down to Felicia and Christi. Frank doesn’t trust Christi. He has her step forward.

basement_5_p1f_48

She says that Evan was lying. Frank asks why he’d lie. Christi wonders why she’d call him if they’d just hooked up. Because Frank asked you to? Anyway, Susan agrees with Christi’s logic and comforts her…

basement_5_p1f_49

…which is probably about as soothing as snuggling with steel wool. Christi goes back to the group, and Felicia comes forward. “When are you gonna start talking about me and thinking about me more?” Frank asks her. As if she doesn’t talk about him enough! These girls spend their days talking about Frank. What does he want to just consume her so he can eventually kick her off for being obsessed with him? She’s staying, so I guess we’ll see how it pans out!

Christi is at this point sobbing.
